We'll discuss how customers can best value distributed solar and storage resources and highlight tools (both technological and regulatory) for overcoming roadblocks on the path to a DER Grid.

1:45 - 2:30 Big Breakthrough: Community Solar

Community Solar, increasingly referred to as "shared solar," is one of the fastest-growing segments of the U.S. solar market. But largely it has yet to break through as a viable option for C&I customers. This session will examine models being developed by SolarCity and others to help make community solar part of the arsenal for the increasing procurement of renewables by commercial customers. We will assess the pros and cons of community solar contracts, financing, and relevant policy developments - notably size restrictions on CSGs, which vary widely among states that allow community solar - to determine how this model may increasingly be applicable to a corporate audience.

2:30 - 3:15 Lyndon Rive and Peter Rive in Conversation

In a rare public venue, and to wrap up our event, this conversation between SolarCity co-founders Lyndon and Peter Rive will cover a range of critical topics including the state of the energy industry, where the energy world is headed, future growth plans for SolarCity, plus audience Q&A.
